  7. Asthma costs in the US grew from about 53$ billion in 2002 to about 56$ billion in 2007, about a 6% increase.
  8. In children, boys are more likely to have asthma than girls, but in adults, women are more likely to have asthma than men.
  9. College-age adults (ages 18 to 24) are more likely to have asthma than older adults (under 18).
  10. There is no cure for asthma but we can control it.
